An intimate portrait of Waly, a man who waited eleven years to be granted asylum, and when it never materialised, took the decision to return home to Darfur in the midst of the violence he fled years prior. Because sometimes, the risk of danger is less disorientating than the repeated denial of safety. Filmed over eight years across four countries, now entering its final phase of production.
